SNOW-COR technology. The oriented tread pattern formed as beams radiating from the tyre center squeezes snow and water out of the contact patch.
ICE-COR Technology. 16 asymmetrical stud rows contact the road alternately with at least 10 studs constantly covered by the contact patch, which allows to prevent the tyre slipping in any direction.
For Cordiant Snow Cross a new rubber compound is used, which contains an increased amount of silica that makes the tyres softer, increases the efficiency at extremely low temperatures, and improves the grip on ice/snow-covered and wet roads.
To enhance security, the winter tyres are studded with unique patented star-shaped studs with a vanadium carbide core made by Season.
To secure the stud, two-layer fixation and special anchoring are used
